Its primary goal is to increase the chance of survival of Road Traffic Accident Victims and other critical emergency conditions. SAVAN Collaborates with hospitals under Ministry of Health to assist accident victims and over two thousand Nigerians mostly road accident victims have benefited from its services. SAVAN is presently rated the biggest provider of help to accident victims in Nigeria. Its major objective is to combat the spectre of soaring mortality rates among victims of road traffic accidents, street violence, natural disaster and domestic brutality. LIFELINE provides first help services to road crash victims and currently offers 24-hour mobile ambulance services in the federal capital territory of Nigeria and its environs. The association creates public awareness on road safety issues in Nigeria. LIFELINE was largely inspired by the harrowing personal experience of its Initiator. INTERNATIONAL ROAD SAFETY NEWS The goal of Drive And Stay Alive is to provide drivers of all ages and in all countries with additional or updated information that can greatly enhance your safety on today's busy roads. In June 2004, the DSA website got the CARSP "Best International Traffic Safety Website" award. The Commission for Global Road Safety, led by the Right Hon Lord Robertson of Port Ellen, has been established by the FIA Foundation with a remit to examine the framework for, and level of, international cooperation on road safety, and to make policy recommendations.
